Allendale Steakhouse opened its doors in 2014 with a simple mission: serve exceptional food, crafted with care, and delivered with genuine hospitality. More than a decade later, that mission hasn’t changed.
We’re a family-owned restaurant in the heart of Allendale, New Jersey — the kind of place where regulars are greeted by name, celebrations feel at home, and every table gets the same attention whether it’s a Tuesday dinner or a fiftieth anniversary.
We take our steak seriously. Ourselves? A little less. If our house sign — “Feed me steak and tell me I’m pretty” — made you smile, you’ll fit right in.
The Craft
Dry-Aged 35 Days. Butchered In-House.
Great steak can’t be rushed. Every cut we serve is USDA Prime — the top grade of American beef — dry-aged in-house for a full 35 days. The aging process concentrates flavor and delivers the tenderness that made our porterhouse a Bergen County destination.
We butcher on premise, season with our own ASH steak blend, and finish everything over a blazing grill. From the bone-in ribeye to the prime filet mignon, this is beef the way a classic steakhouse intended it — with fresh seafood, a chilled raw bar and handcrafted sides to match.

Behind every dish is a kitchen team that treats each plate like it’s going to their own family’s table. Seasonal specials, hand-formed crab cakes, pan-seared Chilean sea bass, Colorado rack of lamb — everything is prepared to order, from scratch.
